Leak Checks
The one thing that poses the greatest danger to you are unknown leaks in your system especially if they are underground. It is our responsibility to accomplish a leak check when we take you on as new customer as well retain the documentation that one has been done.
We charge $45 dollars for any leak check If no repairs are necessary or parts needed. Keep in mind this is about half of what it should cost with the time we invest. It is as important to us as it is to you to know your system is fault and leak free. We will also check the operation of your regulators and advise replacement should they be 15 years or older.
If you should ever smell what you think is gas, please remove yourself from the area, to an outdoor area. If you know how, shut off the supply at the tank and call the Johnson Oil offices immediately. We take potential gas leaks very seriously and will dispatch someone to investigate the situation and declare it safe again.
